- Stucco work
Wat Lat Sattharam, also called Wat Tha Mu Si or Wat Sala Mu Si, is recorded in the temple register as built in 1702. It received its royal grant for an ordination hall boundary (wisungkhamsima) in 1789 and again on 13 July 2020. The surviving evidence shows an old temple that has been altered and renovated throughout its history.
King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) stopped here and took a meal at the temple during his tour of Monthon Ratchaburi in 1909.
The brick-and-stucco ordination hall is five bays long with a front porch. Its column capitals carry brightly painted stucco leaves and flowers, and both gables show brightly painted stucco of Narai riding Garuda and seizing a naga. Red sandstone boundary markers surround the hall, and nine small chedis stand in front of and beside it.
