Cha-am

Camel Republic Cha-am is a Moroccan-style amusement park and zoo on Phetkasem Road in Khao Yai Subdistrict, Cha-am District, about 10 minutes from Cha-am town. The animals are split into three zones: the Farm Story zone, the Exotic animals zone and the Cute animals zone. The highlight is the herd of Arabian camels and camel riding.

What animals are there

  • Exotic zone: Arabian camels, giraffes, Angora goats, Patagonian maras, Shetland ponies, capybaras, flamingos and several kinds of parrot
  • Farm Story zone: Suri alpacas, Dorper sheep, miniature donkeys, pygmy goats, Sulcata tortoises, and geese, ducks and chickens of various breeds
  • Cute animals zone: rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, dwarf hedgehogs, prairie dogs and budgerigars

Activities and entry

  • Entry tickets: adults 120 baht; children 100–129 cm tall and seniors aged 60 and over 80 baht; each includes 1 set of animal feed
  • Children under 100 cm and people with disabilities enter free
  • Packages: adults 299 baht, children 199 baht, including 2 ride or activity tickets and 2 animal-feeding tickets

Good to know before you go

Besides the animals there are rides, a 4D cinema and Miffy's Voyage Café. A reviewer in Aug 2026 recommended the 299-baht package, because a standard ticket only lets you feed one kind of animal, and a reviewer in Sep 2026 described a herd of Angora goats coming to take food from their hand. Rated 4.0 from 2,783 reviews on Google (Oct 2026).

Opening hours and getting there
